    Default Teams Functionality

My company performs function ABC across 50 clients. We want to track contacts and cases in SugarCRM. The fields tracked are all identical.

The only catch is individuals at each of the companies will have access to SugarCRM. So not only should users not have access to the view, edit, delete the records of other teams (companies). But users should never even see that the other teams (companies) exist.

So how far does the SugarCRM PRO go with this team concept? For example, when a user adds a case or a contact, and opens the account drop down, will they see all of the accounts on the system or only the accounts they have been given access to?

Anyone have a similar requirement and care to share their experience?

    That's exactly how teams work

Have you played with the professional demos for SugarCRM? http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/demo/sug...te.html#online

The SugarCRM Admin manual for Professional goes into great detail about teams.

    Sugar University for training
Sugar Wiki for developer and user help
SugarForge for modules, themes, lang packs
    SugarExchange for production-ready extensions
Enter/view bugs via the Sugar bug tracker
