an account or contact can be involved in more than one team (eg sales team sell them software, dev team builds them a website), so everyone needs to have access to all accounts and contacts.
the opportunities can definitely be assigned to a team - they are either a sale or a dev project.
the sales team doesn't need to know the dollar value of a dev project, and vice versa.
although maybe they should be able to list opportunites, but not see the dollar amount.
so how do i give everyone access to all accounts and contacts?
do i assign everyone to all teams, or do i need to create a global team, assign everyone to it, and always assign the global team to all contacts and accounts?
then the opportunities can be assigned to a sales or dev team, for reporting.
and i can use roles to control access to the amount fields.
i have another custom field called sector, to further divide the anz sales team into industries.
is it possible to produce funnel reports based on a custom field, or is it always team based?
