    Question Is there a fix??

I am trying to install sugar and keep getting the following error...

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /home/clearrec/public_html/career/include/database/DBManager.php on line 476

This message shows up in the information box on the last part of the install after I see the message 'creating config.php'. Right under that I see the error message.

Can someone tell me what this means and how to fix it?

You will need to go to the file (DBManager.php) and see what the entry on line 476 is. That should give you a hint. Make sure you CHMOD the files as indicated in the install instructions.

    Thanks for the reply...

I was going to copy out all of the code for the DBManager.php, but on the last line of the code in the page, which happens to be line 476, there is only a $. That's it.

Thumbs up Re: Is there a fix??

I imported all files again to make sure there were no upload errors...that fixed it. Thanks for the help. I just needed to take a look closely at the code and realized that not all information was uploaded properly.
