Default Is there an 'UNDO' function

I am trying out SugarCRM ...imported a few records ...weren't quite right and deleted them. Yours truly deleted a couple of other accounts as well - too quick with select all arrow. It didn't even ask if I really meant to delete them.

Is there any way I can 'undo' an action?

They're not really deleted, they are still in the db and marked as deleted and thus they don't show up in the crm.

That's nice. Now another question. How do I get to see it and possibly recover.

I have community version installed on my PC with MySQL and Apache servers.

    Hello !

You can directly execute a query in MySQL db for account Table for set 'deleted' field as 0 from 1. Then You will be able to see those records in SugarCRM Account module.

    hope this helps

Thanks Nilesh for the quick reply. Now it looks like I have the ticked to Mecca but don't know how to get on the train - I don't know much about SQL other than going to a Gupta (don't know if you remember that far but he was the first one to evangalise SQL and probably the inventor - I may be wrong here) seminar and getting an eval copy.

You see - I start out int he days of Dec's PDP/VAX days as H/W engineer. Got headhunted for problem managing Messaging installations. Left them to be more with the family, drifted into self employment and now here. Most of what I know is self taught as needed. So, I am OK configuring/using IT. So, have setup SBS 2003 and done a few for my close friends. Stumbled upon SugarCRM having given up on Maximizer, ACT!, salesforce.com, ZOHO (vtiger was jack of all trades ...). Now learning SugarCRM - one has to do all this to compete in today's climate.

Any pointers to where I can pickup SQL stuff quickly
