Is there a way to Globally change Account info?

I have 2 accounts who through a merger have become one under a different name. Now I need to change all of the existing data to the new name (Account Names, Contacts email addresses, Cases, etc). Is there an easy way to do this without going in at the DB level?

Hi psdavec, Sugar Professional and Enterprise editions offer a merge capability that allows you to take Account X and merge the data with Account Y (and Z ...).

For Sugar Open Source, your option is to merge at the database level, or to to copy information manually.
