    Default Time out for login

I am finding that users are getting disconnected from SugarCRM after what I assume is inactivity. I do not see any settings for this in the ADMIN section.

Is there a file that contains an inactivity time out setting I can adjust?

    Using SugarCRM 5c.

This is most likely due to the time out settings on your web server. Give those a look for your web server.

Your php.ini file contains the session.gc-maxlifetime value. The php session expires based on this value. http://de3.php.net/manual/en/session...gc-maxlifetime

Thanks I will check that also, anyone see a problem with increasing this to something like 4 hours? Since the log out occurrs and you are not taken back to the login screen, you could enter a long NOTE for example and not find out until after you have clicked save on the note.

Also for clarity for anyone else looking for this it is session.gc_maxlifetime

    Thanks,
    Gene

    Four hours is common.
