    hello,

We have made a fresh install of sugarcrm 5.1.0b.
We use the Outlook Plugin (bought) version 4.5.1c build 4.5.1.64.

And, when we sync a meeting (written into sugarcrm), the time on outlook is 1:00 (but the day is ok).

Anyone can help me to solve this problem ?
I have read many message, i have set on my computer the GMT+1Paris (for me), i have set the same GMT on sugar.
I have uninstalled my plugin and i have reinstalled it.
    But still the same problem.

i know Php, i know a little about soap, can anyone help me to solve this ?

I would start by updating your Outlook Plug-In to the latest version which is 5.1.0a (build 5.1.0.52). A lot has been fixed since version 4.5.1c.

Question Re: Time problem when syn Outlook - Sugarcrm

    Hey there,

I'd like to throw in on this if I may, as we're having the same issue, but what we're seeing is that no matter what time we enter on ANY Appt, Call, Meeting in Outlook, when we go to sync to Sugar [CE Version 5.1.0b (Build 4905) BTW], it sets every entry in sugar at 4:00PM, the previous day

Plus, if its an all day event, it sets it to start at 4:00PM the previous day, until 4:00PM on the following, correct, day, in Sugar.

Then if we change it in Suger to reflect the right day and time, it changes the Outlook entry to the '4:00PM previous to 4:00PM next day' time.

We've got the 4.5.1.21 MS Outlook Plugin, and we'd have no problem upgrading to any newer version, but to reflect what 'plici_stephane_t' stated, can we be sure the new version corrects this problem?

Plus, since we've already paid for the previous plugin, wouldn't we be entitled to just an upgrade for the plug-in, or do we have to purchase (so in affect re-purchase) it?

BTW - we tried to see if we COULD purchase the newer plug-in, as we're not "completely" against re-purchasing it, if that's what we have to do, but it only shows a 30-day trial download, and only for Outlook 2003.

Any comments on a permanent copy, and/or for Outlook 2007?

I have tried on OPI 2003 4.5.1.21, use GMT+1 on both side. The time is not set to 4:00, but update the time on either Sugar or Outlook and then sync, the time will not change.

Also tested on OPI 2003 5.1.0a, it works fine for me. The time is correct and can be updated through sync. You may have a trial version to see if it also works for you.

OPI 2007 5.1.0c will be released soon, very close.

Hey Masonhu, thanks for the reply. When you said, "use GMT+1 on both sides", do you mean that's what you did, or that's what we should do?

If it was for us to do, did you mean set Sugar and Outlook to GMT+1, or Sugar and our PC's? This will screw up the correct time display of our emails though.

Just want to make sure before I do anything office wide.

    Thanks

I just use the setting described by plici_stephane_t. You don't have to do that. No machine time zone changed at all.

    Hey Masonhu,

K - gotcha - I can confirm that both Outlook and Sugar are set to our TZ (GMT-8) (+DST), as we're in Victoria, BC, Canada, but the issue still remains, so I agree that getting an updated plug-in will be the right direction to correct this in the end.

I guess we'll just wait for the 2007 OPI to come out then, but just to confirm, can we purchase the current 2003 OPI, or is it 'Trial' only right now?

    Thanks

When you purchase Sugar Network, Sugar Professional or Sugar Enterprise, you get access to the Sugar Plug-In for Outlook 2003 and for Outlook 2007.
