Timeout problem in campaign

I'm experiencing a timeout problem in sending campaing emails. I'm working with Sugar 5.2a on IIS and MSSQL. It's the first campaign were are managing after moving Sugar from MySQL to MSSQL. When I force the "Send Queued Campaign Emails" from the "Manage Email Queue" in the "Admin" panel I receive a timeout error even if I increased the timeout limit in the php.ini to 180 seconds. Some email are in any case sent but no more than 10/15 each time. This is the first time I experience this problem that never arised using the MySQL DB. Do you know if it's relatied to MSSQL? Anybody has an idea on how to overcome it?

You can increase the timeout/max_execution_time value to a high value.
OR
Increase your server speed.

Also IIS - MSSQL combination is slow, when compared to APACHE-MySql.

So the immediate solution is, increase the timeout limit to a high value.

Also why don't you try schedulers to send emails?

The timeout is at 180 sec. but in any case the sysstem isn't able to send more than 7/10 mails. The same system worked before upgrading to MSSQL and to 5.1 without problems. I read in some threats that the same problem arises with Apache and MySQL. I think it's related at some kind of timeout in communication with the smtp server..
