We have been using SugarCRM 4.5.1 CE for about 2 years now. In the past week, we have started experiencing a LOT of time outs. It appears to be when we are accessing leads & emails. From what I can tell so far, the leads are also calling on the emails and it is the email table that seems to be timing out. The emails is our largest table.

Last week, we have about 120,000 records in our emails and were using 50+MB in overhead. I have combed thru them and deleted a ton of them. We are now down to 21,000 records and no overhead... except we are still getting the time outs. I have cleaned out a lot of our DB.. I have repaired the indexes thru sugar... i have repaired & optimized the tables thru phpMyAdmin... our hosting company is insisting that it is, in fact, our MySQL DB that is causing the issue but I dont know what else to do to correct this issue.

I just went around to our reps to get an idea of where they are getting the time outs. THey all recorded their most recent ones and now it seems to be all over the board. Here are a few of where they are seeing the timeouts (if this helps at all)

Saving lead data
clicking on email link in a lead
trying to view Read Emails
clicking on Email tab
using universal search
clicking on Opportunity tab
opening an opportunity to edit
clicking on last view (opportunity)

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
