Hi,
This all started because I wanted to upgrade from 4.5.1h to 5.2.0. The reason for the upgrade was to accommodate a later version of ZuckerReports, but we found out the ZuckerReports will only work on version 5.0.0 of SugarCRM or earlier. I took a copy of the 4.5.1h install and got it running on a different server and attempted to do the upgrade to 5.0.0a on the "copy", Note this failed via all attempts using the wizard and the silent installer. Did an install with "sugarcrm-CE-5.0.0b-linux-installer.bin" on REL5.2and manually copied over Contacts, Accounts, Users, Opportuninties, (Activities failed - no decent export and Import). Then found even on a clean install of 5.0.0b patched to 5.0.0i adding Notes with attachments gives errors "Invalid File Reference" when trying to access the attachment, (note it adds the entry to the DB but no file in /cache/upload), even the UpgradeWizard had a blank page until I manually created folder structure to get it to work?
Why is it that features in earlier versions work and not in later ones, can't be compatibility issues as this was done with a "Stack Installer" provided by you!
Are the Sugar developers intentionally creating issues to get users to Buy a "Supported" Licensed version?
Even the date on your forum had my last visit in 1969 ( I wasn't even born then)??????
Can someone get this right?
Annoyed!
