Total amount for Opportunities

Customizing a CRM for mortgage
Im using the opportunities as loans

sometimes 1 loan(opportunity) has 2 loan amounts. I am sure there is some simple way to total a 1st and 2nd mortgage into the total amount box but I know nothing about php.

Anyone have an answer on this? Im using 4.5.1a

I am assuming you are using 2 different fields to store the value of each loan. In which case, you should be able to do it via some custom PHP or JavaScript without too much trouble.

If you post some more details, such as the names of the fields in question, we may be able to give you a more specific answer.
