Transferring data between SugarCRM installs

I am trying to move data between an old Sugar installation using Version 4.5.0c (Build 1155) to a new Sugar installation using Version 4.5.1 (Build 1197). Is this possible?
Can I just perform a straight DB export/import with a custom fields export/import?
Or is it more difficult than that?

Suppose I should pay some money to get an answer to this question.

Hi watermann,

Two ways t get this done:

1. Upgrade the current version of your Sugar instance and then you can export that to the fresh install of Sugar version.
2. Simply use the export/import feature of Sugar.

BTW, have you tried either ways in the meantime?
