Cool transient Invalid dn syntax error for ldap auth

Sometimes I get a red "invalid dn syntax" error when i attempt to log in. Trying again usually allows a successful login.

This happens for users who have never logged into sugarcrm AND for those who have.

What is the cause of this transient error? (Couldn't be a config error could it?)

    Thanks!

    Brad

Default Re: transient Invalid dn syntax error for ldap auth

    Hi Brad,

I get the same message, when using a valid user and a wrong password.

Either the message is simply misleading
    as the issued bug suggests,
or a combination of failed authentication and LDAP-Binding causes this.

    HTH,

    Heiner
