Trouble with adding dashlets

Hey there,

I've currently ran into a problem that when I click on add dashlets, then select one it keeps coming up saying "Undefined", then doesn't add the dashlet to the page.

I've ran a Error console when trying it and it keeps showing this:

Error: SUGAR.mySugar.currentDashlet is null

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hello,

Try to change the permission for sugar files. Please, set for folders 755 and for files 644.

Thanks, that seems to have worked.. But it still isn't adding the dashlets to my home page

and i'm still getting this error:

Some few questions:

What is the version of your SugarCRM box?

Is this instance installed on Linux?

Did you upgrade from previous version?

Did you install any language pack?

Are you able to reproduce this error in original language and in installed language pack?

Is this instance installed on Linux? Unsure about this one.. All I know it's been installed onto our Media Temple server.

Did you upgrade from previous version? Nope.

Did you install any language pack? Yes, i installed English UK Language pack(http://www.sugarforge.org/frs/?group_id=78)

Are you able to reproduce this error in original language and in installed language pack? When using the US one, it just comes up saying "undefined", but when using the English UK one.. it says "Adding Dashlet" then "Loading.." then doesn't add it.

Try in Firefox.
Install and enable the Firefox plugin Firebug.
Enable the Firebug tabs Console and Javascript.
Try to reproduce the issue.
Hopefully you will see an error message at the right bottom corner of Firefox window.
Open the error and take a screen shot as detailed as possible.
Attach it into your next post.

You are not running the latest version because at 6.1.1 the class UserPreference implements the method "isPreferenceSizeTooLarge".
Your instance is returning an error because such class does not implement the method.
Anyway, your instance is buggy, it is possible it had been upgraded but not successfully.

I've ran the upgrade check in admin panel, and it says i have the latest version..??

Im running version 5.5.4 and i've just recently started getting this error in firebug... it adds the dashlet to the home tab but it doesnt appear .... instead it throws this error... If i refresh than i can see the newly added dashlet.
