Default Trouble editing Target List - list View Headings

    Good day all,
I'm trying to edit the view of a Target List as it appears in the "Target List" "Targets" Subpanel.

The default for this view seems to be to display the Name, Title, "Email", "Phone", "edit button", "Remove Button".
I'd like to add in the "Account Name".

I've been trying to find this subpanel in Studio. I can't find it.

I'd have a much easier time convincing our sales force to use this tool if I can show them the names of the companies in this view.
"See Mr.Mrs. Sales person, Here is the campaign. Click the link right here to view the prospects in the list. "Click" List comes up shows sales person lots of 'big-money' company names, CEO names, Phone Number...

But, I can't find this one stupid edit.

    Sugar Open Source 4.5.1d

    Can you help me?
    Sincerely,
    James Oiler.

At the risk of being one of the 'whiners' here,
I'll say I find it really hard to get to use a forum where the admins will move you message to a totally different forum without telling you where.
I had to do a search for my own message.
I try to be active and useful on these forums and practises like this make it tough to keep caring.

I see there've been about 30 or so views on this question.
Not a huge groundswell in interest.
    Not a single reply.

I don't know what else to do to get through.

    Sincerely,
    James Oiler

    Hi James,

I'm wondering if you ever managed to resolve this issue.

I have exactly the same problem, I have set up a number of telesales campaigns and would like to view them by account name.

There doesnt seem to be a way to edit the list view of the leads within the target list - highly frustrating.

    regards,

    prem

    Hi all.

By default the Target List module can't be edited in the Studio, so yo need to copy the attached file to modules/ProspectLists/metadata to make it editable through Studio.

After this you can go to Studio -> Target List -> Subpanels -> Targets

Modify the layout as you wish, "Save & Deploy" and enjoy the changes.

    Best regards.

It is about 6 months a a few upgrades later and this function still hasn't been integrated to the studio as a standard feature. Do you have the patch for the 5.2 version?

    Thanks in advance!

I just copied the studio.php from Targets into TargetLists and did a replace of 'Target' with TargetList' in the etxt - and it basically worked.

But I agree, I don't see any reason why this isn't in the standard distribution.

this is done thru your website hosts control panel

    1. download the file supplied to your computer
    2. login into control panel and go to your file manager
    3. click on the directory folders til you get to the level mentioned above
    4. upload the file to the directory specified
    5. go back to sugarcrm and navigate to the studio function and perform your tasks,
    6. if desired you can add fields to the form as needed

    best of luck
