Default Trying to Determine How Involved a Customization Will Be!

    Hello All!

I've been playing around with SugarOS 4.5.0F for a few weeks evaluating it for use at our company, and have been able to successfully create and add new custom fields and drop downs through Studio, primarily to the Opportunities module. Using the "add rows" functionality I've created several custom fields, each of which I need to log a corresponding date for. To do this I've used the Left column for "Custom field 1" and the Right column (on the same row) for "Custom field 1 Date", and so on. This may not be the ideal way to accomplish this but its adequate for these particular fields because since there are only 2 related pieces of data (the custom field and it's date), the 2-Column layout for the DetailViews and EditViews are enough.

However, now I'm running into a wall in trying to figure out how to create a way to allow us to track more extensive custom information, which requires about 5 or 6 related fields of data each. For example:

Project, Acquisition Cost, Start Date, Salesperson, Commission Percentage, Commission Amount (in $), etc...

I've searched the forums and read the guides but don't see anything short of building a new Custom module to accommodate this.
Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!

    thanks,
    thatguy

Anyone know if there is a simpler solution than building a new custom module here?
