Default trying to send email: You do not have access to this area. SugarOS 4.5.0.c

    Hi

we are slowly moving to use sugar more and more. today one of the users attempted to email other users from within sugar.

    He received the following message:

"You do not have access to this area. Please contact your site administrator if you believe that you should have access.Redirect to Home in 3 seconds"

After which it directs him to the the home tab.

I can send emails from my account - which has administrative rights.

I have looked at the sugarcrm.log file (with debug enabled) and cannot see any glaring error messages or differances in how sugar tries to send the email.

Maybe there is a setting that I have missed? Both accounts have the same User Role applied to them and the same email settings (Internal SugarCRM mail client, text only, using the same smtp server)

I have not posted the sugarcrm.log file, but can if it is needed. See my sig. for system and software versions.

    In response to this issue:

I have granted the user admin rights (temporarily) and now he can send emails. So it has to be some setting I am missing somewhere, right?

    thanks
