Default Trying to upload .csv into leads - wont work

    I keep getting this error:

    Success:
    0 Records created successfully
1983 Records skipped due to error
    Download List of Errors
Download records that could not be imported.

When I try to click the "download List of Errors" link i get this:

"You don't have permission to access /crm/cache/import/error_277b8ca6-9d83-4bc6-f2c4-499862bff657.csv on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

When I try to click "Download records that could not be imported" I get the same message. I cant upload anything into the SugarCRM database . please help

Where is the CSV file from? I tried importing a CSV a little while ago and each field was surround by " ". I had to actually select it.

Make sure you have selected the proper character around each field and make sure you have the correct delimiter.

I had a similar problem. Most of my records imported ok, but clicking on the list of errors generated the same error message that you got.

My solution was to go to the base directory of your sugarcrm install and change the permissions of the cache directory to 755 thusly:

    Code:
    chmod 755 -R ./cache
I had to do the same thing for the custom directory when uploading my logo.

    Hope it helps.

I tried both of these and am still getting the same error. Permission denied. Any more ideas? Has anyone solved this issue yet?
