Unable to download uploaded files

Howdy.

We moved an instance of SugarCRM Community Edition Version 5.1.0RC (Build 4469) to our new Windows 2008 server. Everything seems to work but one particular function.

When Users click on uploading files (.txt, doc, or .pdf) the browser attempts to download a file and they are eventually greeted with a error message stating that the source file could not be read.

I have checked permissions and IIS settings however I am unable to locate anything suspicious.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi!

The uploaded files are stored in /cache/upload, check if the files are still there (they're not stored as they were uploaded, they have some kind of hash and other stuff, but if you see a lot of files with weird names then i guess your files are there

). If you moved your instance completely (a copy-paste) then the problem might be in your config file, check around line 264, in the "site_url" and line 299, "upload_dir", maybe the path is different and the system can't find the files.
