Unable to edit custom fields' labels

Hello there,

This might be a known issue, and I'm sure there must be previous posts about this but I could not find an answer that resolves my issue .

I am trying to change a few labels of fields using Studio.

Renaming labels of non-custom fields works fine.

However, when I attempt to do it on a custom field, the changes aren't saved.

Are there any settings (privileges) somewhere that I need to change to allow this changes?

I am trying this on Sugar Professional Version 5.2.0h (Build 5744) and Version 6.0.2 (Build 4217)

Hello,

After investigating further, I have noticed the problem is not because they are custom fields.

It seems like the fields that have the problem (i.e. their display label cannot be changed) are the ones that have a System Label in lower case.



My theory is that they were created in an older version of SugarCRM, and the mapping was lost during an upgrade perhaps, and now the system label does not reference the actual field.

Is there a way to fix this in a configuration file or something like that?
