The add (+) Email Address is grayed out. It, and the buttons for Primary, Opted Out and Invalid are also grayed out / not available.
Prior to upgrading from Community 5.5.4 to Professional 6.0, I had email addresses in contact records. Those were a combination of keyed in and imported entries. They have survived the upgrade.
I had an email address associated with a person's name that was in a Lead record. It was entered prior to upgrading to 6.0. Today, I converted the Lead and checked the Create Contact, Create Account and Create Opportunity check boxes. When the system saved the records, the email address for the contact had disappeared.
It turns out that one of my colleagues at work was able to use this feature with Internet Explorer. I have been using Foxpro and that seems to be the source of this particular problem.
I have the same problem when using Google Chrome. But it works fine with Explorer. Tkx for the tip!
Now, it would be great if I could keep using Chrome of course![]()
