Unable to modify forms with the Studio in 6.1

Hi,

This question will sound very newbie but on an "almost" fresh install, I'm unable to save a form in the Studio.

For example, if I try to modify Studio -> Meetings -> Subpanels -> Contacts, and I remove say the "Phone Number" field, it saves with no error displayed but upon saving I see the "Phone Number" comes back to its original place as if it didn't save.

Then, if I go into "View history", I see that there has been an error :

Fatal error: Call to a member function getLanguage() on a non-object in [...]/modules/ModuleBuilder/views/view.listview.php on line 176

My SugarCRM 6.1 is in French.

Does anybody have a clue as to what's happening ?

I am having the same problem. I added a custom field, first name. I was able to get it into every place I needed it, except the account detail list. I add it and save & deploy - not in the detail list. I go back to studio. The field is sitting there right after Name - but does not show up in the details list after a search.

I check the history and click on one of the entries - and the same error message as reported by the OP appeared.

Any ideas where this error came from and how to fix it?

I have my sugar installation running on a XAMPP web server (PHP 5.2.9, MYSQL 5.0.51a, Apache 2.2.11) on Windows 7.

I upgraded to 6.1.4 and my error message disappeared and I can restore history fine. I still, however, am not able to update the detail list template. In Studio, my custom field shows next to Name, but does not appear when searching accounts - not even a header.

I am running in Developer mode right now so cache shouldn't be an issue. It's just weird because it appears to be only the detail list for Accounts. I can still make changes to other layouts.

Let me make sure I am editing the right layout. If I click on Accounts - what is the layout for this list view?
