    Default Unable to open Attaachment

    Hello All,

    Attachments in the Notes section were working perfectly fine earlier. Now suddenly I am unable to download any type of attachment.
    for pdfs download - will return that file is corrupt
    for jpg - broken image
    for .doc or .docx - error has occured

    if I try to access these same files at the server they open up but not able to open them through Sugar.
    Uploading these files is working perfectly fine and only issue when downloded.
    please help as I am banging my head for too long on this.

    SugarCRM 6.1.2
    PHP 5.6.2
    Windows 2008
    SQL Server 2008

    Did you change anything in Sugar? Update?
    Is it the same problem for all users?
    Did you test different browsers? Maybe a browser update could cause this problem.

    "Suddenly" is sort of vague. Did you or somebody else do anything which might have caused this "suddenly"? And: When you say the files open perfectly directly on the server you mean the cache/upload directory?

    You might want to try the usual things like switching browsers, run a quick repair, check whether the database entries (the IDs and mime types) coincide with the physical files in upload.
    I'm afraid there is not much more I can contribute at this point
