    Default Unable to receive email but can send through Sugar

    Hello

    I am unable to receive email for individual users or a group user account. I am able to send email though from the accounts in sugar.

    Also if I go into the users email and click, settings then mail account and add the email account there I can receive emails. Doing this though cause the account to show up as a second account in the mail profile. I have setup the inbound email options in sugar administration but do not receive any mail. Clicking the test settings does complete successfully.

    I have also added in windows task scheduler on the 2008 SMS the following as mentioned in the sugar documentation to check email for group email accounts, C:\Program Files (x86)\sugarcrm-5.51RC\httpdocs\sugarcrm\php.exe -f cron.php

    We are using sugar Version 6.1.1 (Build 5512) on a windows 2008 SBS

    Any thought or ideas would be much appreciated

    I am not understanding your problem.

    You indicate that if you go to the email client and define it as an account for a user, it works. Yet, at the same time you are saying you can't get email when configured for an individual user or group. The fact it works for that user seems to contradict the latter part.

    Can you elaborate on what it is you've done and is not working?

    Thanks for the reply. Basically I can not receive any email on any of the accounts I setup in Sugar unless I add the email account information under the users email tab, settings tab, email accounts. Adding the email account information in that location adds a new separate folder which will receive email in the users email account but the email will not show up in the "My Email" folder

    When you log into sugar, click email then click check mail, no emails arrive and there are no error messages.

    Under the email tab in sugar there is a settings button with two tabs, General and Mail Accounts were you can set up Mail Accounts to view incoming emails from your email accounts for adding additional mail accounts.

    If I add a new account with the same user information as I entered when creating the user, it creates a new folder in the mailbox as second account in which email can be received to the new folder but email does not show up in the My Email folder.

    I should also mention then when the new user is created in Sugar, go into their email, setting tab, Mail accounts no mail account information is listed. If I add the email account it creates an additional folder as a separate account.

    Also If I send an email after adding the account I now have two accounts to choose from, one with the "email address" and the other with the "email address my email" Just wondering if I am missing a step when creating the user in sugar. Thanks
