Default unable to retrieve document or attachement

I uploaded an attachment under the History sub panel of an Account. I can successfully upload an attachment or document but when I try to retrieve them the following errors occur:

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@domain.ph and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/1.3.37 Server at domain.ph Port 80

Same thing happen when I upload and retreive a document under the Document module.

Heres the details of our server:
    OS: Linux
Sugar Version: Sugar Community Edition Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150)
    Apache: 1.3.37 (Unix)
    PHP: 4.4.7
    MySQL: 5.0.27-standard

Hope that someone from the forum can help me.

    Thanks,
    jopax78

    Hi, jopax78.

Has this file blank space into its name?
    Like "Jopax78 document.doc"

If yes, this is the reason.
Just change the " " for "_" before uploading.

    Cheers.

Is that a bug? That cannot be standard practice for SugarCRM. There is no way you can tell users anymore that they cannot have spaces in their filenames.

    Hi, wjohnson

I'm not sure it is a bug, it seems to be a limitation.
When you request a document or note's attachment its file is send by $_GET and how it does not accept blank space int $_GET then it warn file not found.

You could submit a new bug into BugTracker suggesting another way to acquire the attached files.

    Cheers
