Unable to save

Hello to everyone!
I'm trying to insert a new status in the Drop-down editor and when i'm clicking add it's being added but once i'm clicking save it's reseting the list and the new status is no where to be seeing.
I'm logged in with Administrator user so i'm almost sure that the problem is not with Permissions - anyone else have an idea?
P.S
It's not only happens with status - also when i'm trying to re-configure the Search window or anything else that requires saving to DB.

Older versions of Sugar had a bug where values with an apostrophe cause the exact behavior you are describing with the drop down list. Which version of Sugar are you using?

The search window problem does sound like a permissions issue as the changes aren't saved to the database, they are saved to the <sugar>/custom folder.

Chances are that both issues are the permissions related as the drop down values are also stored in a file stored in the same folder.
