Unable to send emails from Campaigns in sugar professional 5.2.i version

Hello,
I am not able to send emails through campaigns.I have made settings as per to the user guide for campaign settings. I am using "SendMail" for sending mails.When I select a campaign and click sendmails , the mails are not sent and they are queued up in the Send Email Queue, which can be viewed in Manage Email Queue. I have set to run for every one minute and every day in the scheduler.But nothing happens here. I am able to send and receive emails from the normal email module.

Details of the Sugarcrm:-

Version :-Sugarcrm 5.2.i Professional
PHP:-5.2
Mysql :-5.2
Apache:-2.2
Operating System :- Linux

Can any one give their valuable suggestion how ot over come this . Thank you for your valuable time.

Hi,

When you get to the scheduled job for running mass email campaigns, do you see any records in job log ?

If you don't, this just means that this job is never called.
Did you setup your linux crontab ?
If you did, try to call the cron.php script in a web browser and check the job log.
