Unable to send out campaign emails

As the title says, i am unable to send out campaign emails. I set up the campaign, created a target list and scheduled a time to send and this is where the problem occurs. None of the emails are then appearing in the email queue and none of them are being sent out. I can send out test emails just not scheduled ones. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Help would be much appreciated.

Did you configure your Operating System to trigger the SugarCRM cron.php?

Can you see an error message in sugarcrm.log like that
If you see a whole string of these, there is a chance someone is attacking your system.
