Unable to unselect on custom multiselect

Once I have selected and saved an item on a MultiSelect I can't unselect or select the blank item and save. Doing so just resets it to its previous value.

To reproduce:

You have a multi-select field. You create the record and select two or three values saving the record.

If you then reedit the record and select only the record "none" the previously stored values still show up.

Expected Behavior: Edit Multiselect and choosing None will yield a value of None.

Nithya - 04/08/2008 - This issue is found in 5.0b also. We cannot deselect all fields in 5.0b while that is possible in 451
