Default Unable to upgrade from 5.2j to 5.5.0

I am unable to upgrade from 5.2j to 5.5.0 as below error comes

Fatal error: Class 'SugarThemeRegistry' not found in /opt/lampp/htdocs/sugar/cache/upload/upgrades/temp/SugarCE-Upgrade-5.2.0-to-5.5.0/modules/Campaigns/metadata/listviewdefs.php on line 74

I have downloaded the stable release update patch SugarCE-Upgrade-5.2.0-to-5.5.0.zip from sourceforge.net and trying to update the sugarcrm instance..

My first suggestion if you're using a production instance of 5.2(j) is DO NOT upgrade yet ... 5.5 is not production ready ...

However, if you have a masochistic streak ...

This feels like a permissions error ... check that the permissions are correctly set

I am not using for the production purpose but for checking the new release

I have given sugarcrm folder full rights ( 777 ), to all files and folders in sugarcrm

This issue occurs when the ListView for the Campaigns module has been customized. To work around the issue you can temporarily remove the customized listviewdefs.php file, perform the upgrade, and move the customized file back.

    To recap:
    1. Before the upgrade, move the file "custom/modules/Campaigns/metadata/listviewdefs.php" to a temporary location outside the sugarcrm folder structure
    2. Perform the upgrade to 5.5.0
    3. Move the listviewdefs.php file back to "custom/modules/Campaigns/metadata/listviewdefs.php"
    4. Run Admin > Repair > Quick Repair and Rebuild
