    Default Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender

    Hello,
    I have a campaign running all is well.

    One thing I don't understand is the Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender - all the emails are already in my INBOX on my machine, is there a way to move back these to the server and link to the campaign, so that any Undelivered Mail is registered by SugarCRM?

    Or is it too late.

    I have two web servers, the mail server a FreeBSD and a Gentoo server running the CRM - would this cause problems if the two are not on the same machine?

    did you set up a bounce handler email account for the campaigns like no-reply@yourdomain.com. This will enable bounce handeling in sugar to flag the invalid emails.

    Hi Max,
    Yes, I had set in the Admin a mailbox for this campaign to handle the Bounce, but what I did wrong was to pull the emails into my INBOX before the SugarCRM is able to read the INBOX via the IMAP server.

    Can I upload my email and then ask SugarCRM to chack against this folder?

    You could but you really should have a seperate mail box for handeling bounce emails and not use it for anything but campaign bounce handeling.

    if the mailbox is set up as a bounce handler when you creat the template. once the emails are sent you can not change it.

    you are out of luck this time.

    OK, I don't understand....

    I have the bounced email set, these are now in the INBOX but on my machine rather than on the server, can I not link this mailbox with the bounced IMAP box and then get SugarCRM to check against after, OR does SugarCRM has to get the bounced messages as the campaign is being sent?

    Isn't there a way for off line checking of invalid emails?
