Unified Search: no result on opportunity names

Hi
Our client is using SugarCRM CE 5.5.4
Everything was working perfectly so far, but it's been a couple of days since when the Unified Search return no results when searching for an opportunity name (which was working fine before)
To our knowledge, they only have modified the list layout (which i dont think would change anything...)
Unified search works fine on other modules, and the module search as well

We have tried to repair the crm, but no luck...

Any idea of what might have happened, and more importantly how to fix this?

i got a similar issue.

check if the input fields in your search form do have a name and id attribute set. Mine are empty, couldnt figure out yet whats wrong with them.

What i have ffound is that the file /cache/modules/unified_search_modules.php was searching "accounts.name" instead of "opportunities.name" (!)
the crazy thing is that repairing this file from the dashboard recreate the same error!
i have fixed the cached file, and if someone does the repair, it'll need to be fixed again!

i came across this too. If you fix something in cache, it gets lost when someone decides to repair the cache. You could try to track the problem further. It must happen before its in cache. My guess, but im not a gury yet.

Quite annoying.
It is indeed when the first search is done that this file is created with accounts.name instead of opportunities.name...
i still can't see why this happens!
Anyone has another idea?
