Unified search not working at all after customization in 4.5.0f

Hi!

I did some customization to sugarcrm modules (Contacts, Cases) in 4.5.0f. Now the unified search is not working at all. Its not showing any results even when the contacts, cases exist. When I try a clean install, everything works fine. What could be the reason behind such behaviour? The customization that I did are mainly adding custom fields and removing some unnecessary fields.

I'm experiencing the same problem specifically for accounts searches... if I do a account only search it works fine but a global does not find any results...

Many thanks Andy, removing /custom/modules/%modulename%/metadata/listviewdefs.php fixed that!!

Deleting from the custom/modules/Opportunities/metadata/ worked from me. Thanks for the solution. It would be really nice though of these kind of things ended up back in the bug tracking system or having two systems with partial information is just a pain to search. I'm just saying it out of hopes that you guys always get better, after all I've been doing sugar since before it was sold.
