Unified Search - Showing Opportunities linked to Accounts

Hi all,

We're running 6.2.1 Pro here and are looking to improve things a little when it comes to the search results.

The way our system works is quite simple, and fast paced as we're producing large numbers of Accounts with many Opportunities linked to those accounts.

Our telemarketers want to be able to search for an account and be shown the opportunities that are linked to that account so that they don't need to click into the Account to see how previous opportunities went with that particular person.

Is it possible to either show the opportunities linked to the account in the default Listview or in the "Unified Search" window?

On a side note, I'm quite happy to do custom coding, so if you have a more complex solution please explain it to me or at least point me in the right direction.
