Unique Field Force

Hello,

In the country I live every company receives a unique number from the government called CNPJ. I would like to add this fielt to sugar. Problem is I cant make it unique (not allow duplicates), I can't add it to the "merge duplicates" option and I can't make the input field the way I need it (only numbers would be a workaround.. but makes things complicate)

What I realy need is:
-only allow a certain format to input the number. Example: 06.355.821/0001-27 - webpage to generate examples: http://www.geradorcnpj.com/
-I want sugar to only allow one user with that field. No duplicates under all sircunstances!

Does anyone know how to do this?
