unsupported merging of multiselects

Currently, SugarCRM mostly supports multiselect custom fields. Multiselects are not supported by the duplicate merge functionality. If you add a multiselect custom field to contacts, play around with it some, and try to merge two contacts, you'll see the loss of data/unsupportedness that I'm talking about.

Does anyone know a work-around, update, or custom module that can fix this?

Hello Eaho, I've noticed the same problem. Have you found any fixes for this?

No. The issue has been around for over half a year that I know of. I've reported the issue to the bug system and made post in the forums when I found it. No responses until I recently pointed out the same bug in the Beta 2 forums.

but that doesn't even look promising. Hopefully you'll have better luck with SugarCRM bugs than I have.

OK, well at least I know I'm not the only one looking for a fix for this. Thanks for your quick reply. If you think of it let me know if you hear of any fixes. I'll do the same.
