unused modules

I am now using CEE 6.2.0, Apache 2 and php 5

I previously installed a number of add-on modules which are no longer used. In the module loader there is a list of these but no "uninstall" buttoms are available.

How can I removed them from the module loader?

You need to delete the records from table upgrade_history. But this will only hid the packages from Module Loader, it will not uninstall them. You would need to manually uninstall them. You will need to double check the content of manifest to know what to delete from system.
