Update calendar (Under Activities) from custom module

Hello everyone!

I just have been using SugarCRM from some month ago, I created some customized modules. I would like to know how to add a task (or uptade and existant task) to the calendar (under Activities) from my customized mudules. For example, if I have a TEXTAREA data (for a description) a DATE data (to specify maybe a due date) in my customized module, How I write those information into the calendar without use directly "New Task" in the TASK subtab. I would like to do this because in this way users will be able to setup activities into the calendar and fill in the information form at the same time, avoiding re-work by re-fill in fields.

There's no native functionality that lets you do this ... you'd need some custom code

What about your php and sugarcrm development skills?
You will need to setup extended vardefs, extended language and logic_hook for your custom module.
