Update History tab to show Calls

I'm a SugarCRM v5.2 user.

Okay, in Contacts you have the History tab. For Calls, it will only show Calls closed with the predefined status, like Held, Not Held, etc.

We added some new status entries, e.g., Left Vmail, and want these to show up in History.

I don't see how to fix this in SugarCRM via Studio.

Do we have to modify code or something somewhere?

You should try the "Reschedule Calls with History" extension here

This will enable you to log all calls with reasons and show the history in the Call rather than in the history panel

That way we can see everything.

Having this same issue, tried the Wiki article, but something must have changed in the current version I have installed.

It says "To show calls with the new status values in the History sub-panel, edit the modules\Calls\subpanels\ForHistory.php file. In the line,..."

There is no modules\Calls\subpanels\ directory.

Has this ForHistory.php file moved to a different location?

Found it. For anyone applying this fix, in Version 5.5.0a (Build 6659), the ForHistory.php file has moved to:

modules\Calls\metadata\subpanels

Rather than

modules\Calls\subpanels\
