Update informations using the import functionality

Hello.

I would like to know if it is possible to update the datas in the accounts or in the contacts using the import functionnality (csv import).

I have tried to import a value to an existing account using the same account name in the csv file, but a new account is created.
I have also tried to import a value to an existing account using the same account id in the csv file, but the import is skiped because the ID already exists in the database.

Is there an other possibility?

This is possible with the new import utility coming out in 5.1. It is not possible in previous releases.

The first release candidate is available now. The final release is expected at the end of the month.
