Upgrade 51c to 52c - sent emails don't link to contacts

We upgraded 51c to 52c today. No hacks, nothing special apart from a few studio fields added.

When I send an email from the Sugar email client the email doesn't appear under the history panel of the contact anymore. Until the upgrade this was working without problems.

Comments? Suggestions?

Additional info: No entry in the Sugar log file (at least not with level FATAL. I am still going through the protocoll that was made with DEBUG level.
However, another strange thing - I have those in my log file. No further explanation given. Happens when the system checks for new mails.

I think I found the problem - if the checkbox "copy to sent emails" in your personal email settings isn't checked the sent email will not be attached to the object that is put into "relate to" on the compose email screen. Cross checked it with a brand new 52c

Can somebody confirm this behaviour?

Sorry - this isn't help, but just another behavior to further your problem above :

Try to send an email from sugar to a custom module record's email - email goes through just fine, but doesn't store the email under the custom mod record...

It used to work in 5.1, but now using 5.2 upgrade here as well.

Then I tried to go into my sent email under Sugar and "relate" it back to the custom module, but the custom module isn't listed in the "relate to". Figured I needed to add a relationship to "Emails" in studio, but that module isn't available under my "relationships" for my custom module.

Hoping someone can post a resolution for this issue... Scared to upgrade to 5.2c... upgrades always bring on more headaches it seems!
