Upgrade and lost telephone numbers

We have the Windows XP Professional Edition operating system and are currently using the Sugar CRM Open Source 4.5.1. There are two problems that I am having with Sugar CRM. Firstly, I am being asked to upgrade Sugar CRM. However, I am being told to back up my existing files.

Secondly, upon accessing our contacts late this morning I notice that when the page lists the contacts in alphabetical order it will display the number. However, after clicking the contact, no number appears despite there being a number existent on my database.

Can anyone help me please with how I can begin to access my contacts?

Hi

As I understand you are speaking about Office Phone field. Please try to edit a contact and check if the Office Phone input box has number in it. If yes - there is something wrong with your DetailView.html file in Contacts module. My advise is to compare it with the version from your back up.
