Environment:
Windows 2003 Server Enterprise with sugarcrm-bitrock-4.5.0c-windows-installer.exe.
I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade from SugarCRM 4.5.0 to 4.5.1e. without using the Admin, Upgrade tool. I see a lot of information on new installations and through the use of the admin tool, but very little on how to upgrade. The reason I'm asking is because I receiving the following error and I don't have access to the admin panel.
"Could not connect to server localhost as sugarcrm.Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client"
I have downloaded Sugar Open Source Upgrade 4.5.0 to 4.5.1e (3.73 MB ZIP), but what are the steps required to do the upgrade?
Additional note:
I would like to do this upgrade and I have two separate instances with unique config.php files running on one database.
C:\Program Files\sugarcrm\htdocs\Company1
C:\Program Files\sugarcrm\htdocs\Company2
C:\Program Files\sugarcrm\mysql\data\Company1
C:\Program Files\sugarcrm\mysql\data\Company2
Thanks in advance for any insight you may have on my particular issue.
