Upgraded to 4.2.1b (lost everything) and now list views only show one item

Hi there. I'm new to posting on this forum. I've been playing with Sugar for a while now and when I was finally ready to implement it in my business I realized I needed to do an upgrade. I upgraded to 4.2.1b and had a few errors which I couldn't figure out. Consequently, I removed the program completely and reinstalled. I lost all my custom fields and layouts, but that wasn't the end of the world. Now, with 4.2.1b I can't see more than one item on any of the list views.... account list view, contact list view, etc.

I'm a bit reluctant to upgrade to 4.5.0b because of my previous issues with upgrades. Does anyone have any idea how to bring back the "full list of accounts" when looking at the list view?

I completely understand your frustration. It seems that when you change the list view values in the admin area they sometimes do not get written into config.php. Anyway, go into the root directory of your install and edit the line in config.php that reads:

list_max_entries_per_page' => 1

to read:

list_max_entries_per_page' => some number

where some number is the number of items to list per page. 20 seems to be a good number.
