Upgrading 4.2.0d to 4.5.0b help

hi,

I have a working 4.2.0d in production at my office. I want to upgrade to the new 4.5. However, I can't seem to find the correct upgrades to do it, as in no '4.2.0d to 4.5.0 upgrade'.

All i can find in the 'download' section is SugarSuite-Upgrade-4.2.0-to-4.2.1c.zip, so I figured id try to load this, and then load the 4.2.1 to 4.5.0 upgrade. When I tried to upload, i get 'not valid upload'.

I tried to apply the 4.2.1c patch, but 'not valid upload'. Tried to apply the 4.2.1 to 4.5.0b upgrade directly. but 'not valid upload'.

Am I missing something? thanks!

(shameless bump) please, any ideas regarding this? Is there a way maybe to make a fresh install of 4.5 and then upload all existing data from 4.2 if I can't upgrade (though don't understand why i shouldnt) ?

The 4.5 installation guide on page 12 says the upgrade wizzard is the only supported method to upgrade to 4.5, therefore I would certainly not try doing a manual upgrade. Furthermore, there is a very annoying bug in 4.2.1 that will prevent you from being able to export your data... therefore... it's a dead end problem...

I am also unable to upgrade to 4.5, I am getting a fatal error.... :-(
