Uploading company logo in sugarcrm 5.2

Hello...got another issue now

i have sugar crm 5.2 (build 5688)...earlier when i tried uploading my company logo in the "evaluation version" it happened instantly...now when i try to upload the same logo on my crm account it gives me the image of a broken file..

Have seen earlier posts..but not sure if i am following the correct process.

Have cleared my cache (mozilla) still of no use..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You can go to the admin panel then select repair and perform a quick repair may this will work for you.

Hello..still not working..

As said i get an "broken file" image under company logo and when i right click to check it's properties under "type" it says "text/html" any idea why its not reading the image file.

the format is .png and 212*40

try to upload small size image.

I am having the same problem with the ondemand version. The file was 17k. What is really strange is that my logo DOES show up when I use the program on my iPhone!

I think if you replace the sugar logo with your own directly on your server it should start grabbing it. I cannot however locate where the sugar logo is located in the files. I can only see where it adds my logo to

custom/themes/Sugar/images/company_logo.png

I changed mine from a jpg to a png and it worked!

Well I'm having the same issue with a 212x40 png and jpg uploaded through sugar or ftp'd to server. The permissions are set to the same as every other imge.

However I have just tried doing the same on the sugarcrm.com demo server and it worked fine.

Can some one help please?? Or is this function just been broken for the community version??
