I've installed Sugar CRM Open Source 4.2.1c on a Gentoo Linux server with apache 2.0.54, PHP 4.4.y and MySQL 5.0.x. When we want to attach a file to accounts we receive an error message from Internet Explorer saying there could be a DNS problem.

We go through Accounts, select an account, scroll down to History and click Create Note or Attachment. With Internet Explorer there is an error message saying there is a problem with DNS settings. When we do the same with Firefox (Linux or Windows), there is no error and the same file is uploaded correctly.

The error occurs with large and small files as well. We have the same problem with Safari on Mac.

Does anybody know what's going on or where I should start to look?
