    Default Urgent Help Ekk!- Regarding Bug In Meetings?

    HELLO,
    I am using SUGARCRM Version 5. When I create a meeting and enter contact name in the field "realted to", It doesnt show the customer account in the list of all meetings when I view meetings from the calender tab. I have to go to the meeting again and edit it to enter the customer account in the "realted to", to make customer account appear in the meeting list.
    Shouldnt it automatically see what account the conatact belong to and show in the list? or it is known that you have to enter information twice???????? plz help cause its urgent.!!!!!!!!!1

    Hi, umairmumtazmalik

    It is a work flow issue.

    To see the Customer Account and the Contact at same time and enter information only once you have to add the contact in the listview bellow the Edit Form and choose the Customer Account in the "relate to" field.

    When relating a Meeting to a Contact Sugar automatically create a new entry into meetings_contacts table, and when you relate a Customer Account to the meeting through the field 'relate to' and add a contact in the ListView bellow the Edit form Sugar create a new entry in the meetings_contacts and relate this meeting to the Customer Account.

    Thanks for the reply but may I know what do you mean by listview? Where do I have to make changes to see the contacts in the listview below the edit as you mentioned? Thanks again

    Hi, umairmumtazmalik

    When you schedule a meeting you are redirect to the EditView of Meetings, where you fill in the form and save, right?
    Bellow the EditView form there is a Add Invitees Form.
    So what you need to do:

    1. Select Account as related to and choose an account
    2. Search for the contact in Add Invitees form, select that one and save the meeting.

    This way all fields will be filled as desired.
