    Default URGENT : Outlook Plug-In

    Hello,

2 weeks ago we had a big storm and a power outage that damaged 1 of our servers, which was the one hosting MS Exchange and all our e-mails.

We went to using direct link to our internet provider. (like any home user) and somehow sugar plug-in reset.

Since then our Outlook Plug-In is not working anymore. Tried uninstalling plug-in and reinstalling, same thing.

in the general tab we put our username, password and URL. Then we test connection and we get a : TEST SUCCESFULL : NO ERROR

Then we start customizing our options like auto-sync. The smallest change we make bring us an error when we hit OK.

    A box appears :
" The Sugar Server specified in Tools -> Sugar Options is unavailable"

Click OK on that box to make it disapear. then we retry and it seems to work. But when we go back in options everything is wiped clean.

Archiving e-mails to sugar from Outlook works fine. Seems manual archiving works on e-mails. Archiving on tasks, appointments doesnt work at all.

I really don't know what is happeing and we really need help

    Thank you in advance

Edit : Forgot to mention we are on Sugar Professional Version 6.1.2 (version de construction 5555)

    CASE SOLVED

We investigated many solutions, and our IT guy thought about something. Multiple mail profiles, he told me that old generation programs had problems managing multi-profiles, seems he was right.

When we had to switched from Exchange to our ISP outlook had created another profile in windows and was using the newer one. We deleted the old profile in windows, rebooted and it works now.

Seems Outlook plug-in is unable to accept more than one mail profile inside Windows

So if you ever have the same problem, look at your Windows Mail Profiles.

    Have a nice day
