Urgent - Tasks Dashlet - Closed tasks not in Contact's History

Hi everyone,

When I use the Tasks Dashlet (on the home screen) to Close a Task, the task does not appear in that Contact's History subpanel. The task disappears altogether.

However, when I use the Contact's own Tasks subpanel to Close a Task, then the task does correctly appear in their History.

So, why isn't the dashlet's Close button having the desired effect?

No problemo - just solved it. The CRM was looking at the wrong Contact field when populating the History list - I stupidly created a superfluous relationship between Tasks and Contacts, even though one exists already, so the wrong relationship was being referenced.

Phew! Back to the batcave.

Actually, it's not solved yet. When I close a Task in a Tasks subpanel (which is in the Contacts detailview), it is listed in the History as expected.

But when I close a Task via a dashlet on the home screen, it does not appear in the Contact's History.

So it's a dashlet issue...?

Time for bed - this has kept me up for 3 days!
